Who is an Objectivist?

We are individuals who love our lives.
We do not accept the un-earned, either in merit or guilt.
We do not recognize as a moral obligation the duty to serve others.
We acknowledge reason as our basic method of survival & our greatest asset.
We recognize that reality is an absolute, not to be changed by our simple wishes.
We understand that nature, in order to be commanded, must be obeyed.

Objectivism is a philosophy, which only means that it is a way of understanding the world around us and our place in it. It was originated by the philosopher, Ayn Rand.

Objectivism holds specific ideas about the nature of reality, the importance of reason, the purpose of morality, and the source of rights.

Put simply, Objectivism is the philosphy of living consciously.
